best scenario of my life

Mom: "Don't hang up!"
Me: "Why, what's wrong?"
Mom: "There's a cat that got into the house! I don't know where it is!"
Me: "Why don't you get a broom and find it and shoo it away?"
Mom: "No, I don't want to look for it."

And then she goes to sit on the couch and waits for the cat to leave.

my new year's resolution for 2k9

1) to attend more ragers (probably not going to happen)
2) to make more lists and stick to them

i'm a simple person. since i completed #2 i have the rest of the year to work on the ragers.
still probably not going to happen.
